About this Image:
On multiple occasions I had searched online for a free image that could be used for missions-related purposes, such as missions conferences or brochures. However, I had been unable to find any images that I liked and that were freely usable, so I decided to create my own. I did not have the right software for the job, and I am not a graphic artist, so you might notice some imperfections.

The flags are all public domain images from Wikimedia Commons. In selecting flags, I generally tried to give preference to countries with one or more of the following characteristics:
  • large popuplation
  • large area
  • many "unreached" people groups
  • many missionaries received
  • many missionaries sent
  • visually interesting flag
I excluded a few flags because they either weren't in the public domain, or because the associated countries had severe persecution of Christians (I didn't want anyone to get into trouble because of an image).
